Local, regional and international artist meet here to exchange their art. We have art talks, exhibitions, lectures, performances and even an art library. Everyone is welcome to visit, get a tour or take a workshop. IBB is significant for Curaçao: it is a birthplace for Curaçaoan artist. Youth from Bandabou to Bandariba, from all layers of the population, can do the preparation course to get enrolled in an art academy abroad. We follow the emerging artist during the art academy and encourage the student to return to Curaçao where we will continue to support her/his art career. The heart behind IBB and the founders are Tirzo Martha and David Bade, two internationally established visual artist.
